6. Philippines

The Philippines may be just about to rudely shove Thailand off the ‘best cheap beaches’ perch it’s occupied for the best part of two decades. While travellers argue long and hard about which is cheaper, there’s no denying Thailand is more popular. For those who desire nothing more than to find great, undiscovered beaches, surf the odd wave and eat unique, distinctive food for under US$20 a day, the Philippines has the edge. Add in the possibility of beach camping along the Zambales Coast or in the Bacuit Archipelago and you’ve got the recipe for timeless island hopping that suits any budget. Ferries link many idyllic destinations in the Philippines. Expect to pay around US$5 for each hour you’re on the water.

I picked the Philippines cause’ EB and I have this awesome plan in January and can’t wait to visit Anton whom I missed this last break. The beaches, the food, the company. Can’t wait to start planning for the trip. Hopefully it’ll work out (:

On a side note, can’t wait for 29th Nov. Boy’s coming down along with the other 2 (: Then it’s off to getting very tanned and very adventurous <3 Oh and to add on, Buddy says he’ll try and get his bike license so can spend even more time with me! (: yay! 15th Dec can’t wait. OMG 15th Dec is so soon! now ‘m nervous. alright. bye bye. Day 2 of the week’s plan is going to start soon.

I miss the pioneer batch. the very first of us.
we were better than every other batch after.
even when there were much fewer of us.
what happened?

Lam’s leaving I admit I’m not THAT close to him but I enjoy his company in classes and all and I know he’s got my back when I need him. Joseph has left, and of course being the pig WE (desmond and I) were we didn’t get up in time to send him off. BUT! Before you go “omg ally and des are such bad friends”, just to let you know, Joseph comes back every 3months. So that’s still okay right? “But still! He was your friend! And he’s always there when you need him!” okay okay. I’m such a bad friend.

CNY 09′ was okay. I’m too lazy to go into detail because it wasn’t that happening. I know most of you would be complaining how much goodies you’ve eaten. Not to burst your bubble, the only ‘goody’ I ate were Cashew Nuts. I’m sorry pineapple tart-lovers but I really hate pineapple tarts! The smell alone makes me shun away. I hated when they served packet drinks that were tea related. I know I sound fussy, but really, what if you had something you honestly didn’t like eating and refused to eat it. Mine just happens to be CNY goodies.

So many things due soon. I won’t say so little time cause’ I honestly had the whole holiday but I was so lazy that I didn’t maximize it. Such a doofus. Which shouldn’t be the case if I want to be a good IB student. I have EE, World Lit, TOK, History IA. genius man, ally. super 45 pointer genius.

When my life is more interesting I’ll get back to you.
